"Watch for Daddy"
Bucs training camp is one week old, which means one thing: Family Day. In keeping with tradition, the second Saturday of camp finds the place crawling with kids. The team has the afternoon off to give players, coaches and staff members a few hours to reunite with loved ones after a long week of work. This afternoon, it won't be Jon Gruden running the players ragged on the field; it will be their children - at the pool, at theme parks, in the hotel rooms.
On the field, left tackle Luke Petitgout was in pads this morning, as promised by Gruden. But after missing four days with a back strain, Petitgout, who has a history of back problems, was limited during team drills.
Defensive end Gaines Adams, hampered by a triceps strain, took some reps with the first team during 11-on-11.
