Bucs sign DE Chukwurah and LB Wilson

Here's more proof the injuries are piling up for the Bucs.

They signed DE Patrick Chukwurah, who was picked up for the final preseason game earlier this year and promptly released. Chuckwurah appeared in nine games in 2007 and recorded 15 tackles and one sack.

The Bucs also signed linebacker Rod Wilson, who originally was a seventh-round draft choice by the Chicacgo Bears in 2005. In 28 career games, he's recorded 12 tackles and 30 special teams tackles. He was released by the Bears near the end of the preseason.

To make room for those transactions, the Bucs placed safety Jermaine Phillips on injured reserve and released running back Noah Herron.
