Galloway: There's been no blowup

WR Joey Galloway broke his silence after the game, speaking briefly about coach Jon Gruden's decision not to activate him today against Atlanta.

Galloway's role has been steadily diminishing in the Bucs offense. Monday at Carolina he didn't play at all, though he did dress. Sunday's move was a new low for the veteran.

"It's football," he said. "There's nothing to start. There's been no blowup, there's been no confrontation. I'm healthy. I don't have anything else for you."

Galloway said reporters probably knew more about his status on the team than he did, "because you guys ask. But could you guys quit asking because then you make (Gruden) take shots at me."

Asked what he was referring to, Galloway appeared to be making light of comments on Tuesday, when Gruden said the Bucs have "moved on" from Galloway.

"There were some comments in the paper," Galloway said. "It didn't bother me."
