Possible broken arm for Jermaine Phillips
The news gets worse after the game.
SS Jermaine Phillips did not talk to reporters afterward, but the look on his face and the sling holding his right arm told the story.
Team officials fear Phillips has broken the arm for the second time, after suffering a fracture of the arm that required surgery in 2004. This injury is not to be confused with the broken left arm he just returned from.
If this is the case, don't expect to see Phillips the rest of the season at a time when his run-stopping ability would have come in handy against LaDainian Tomlinson and the Chargers next Sunday at Raymond James Stadium.
