Raheem Morris "on the radar" in Denver
Newly-promoted Bucs defensive coordinator Raheem Morris is considered in NFL circles to be "on the radar" in the Denver Broncos' search for a new head coach, according to the Rocky Mountain News.
The Denver-based newspaper reported the news for today's editions in response to the firing of longtime Broncos coach Mike Shanahan on Tuesday.
Morris, one of the hotter young coaches in the league, could be considered for other vacancies, too. His name has already been reported in connection with the coaching search in St. Louis.
Though the Bucs just locked up Morris under a two-year contract on Christmas Day, league rules prohibit teams from blocking assistants from interviewing head-coaching posts.
