Broncos hire McDaniels

Raheem Morris won't be going to Denver.

The Broncos hired Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen.

Morris, who was named defensive coordinator by the Bucs on Christmas Day, interviewed for the Broncos head coaching job Jan. 5.

Like Morris, McDaniel is 32 and likely reminds owner Pat Bowlen of a young Mike Shanahan. Now Morris can get on with the job of filling out the Bucs' defensive staff.
