Jagodzinski to speak today

Like many of the readers on this blog, we've been asking the Bucs for several weeks to provide us with some access to the team's new coordinators.

Not sure what took so long, but new offensive coordinator Jeff Jagodzinski will meet with the media today for the first time. Defensive coordinator Jim Bates is up Wednesday.

The hope is we get some idea of the offensive personality the Bucs will have this fall. It certainly will be a different scheme, though we hear it will still have some components of the West Coast offense in place during Jon Gruden's seven seasons. But it also will include some zone blocking techniques that could spur the running game if run effectively.

Anyhow, whatever interesting points Jagodzinski makes will be shared here this afternoon. See you then.
