Morris: "We're crossing our fingers" Bryant will be a Buc

Bucs coach Raheem Morris, attending the Lightning game Saturday night, addressed one of the team's biggest offseason questions, whether they can sign free WR Antonio Bryant. Though Morris didn't offer any specifics, whether the club plans to put the franchise tag on Bryant, or give him a contract extension, he made one thing clear:

The Bucs want Bryant back, and GM Mark Dominik is "doing a great job to ensure that."

"We just want Antonio to be in a Tampa Bay Buc uniform," Morris said. "Anytime you can have that type of production, be that good of teammate, do the things he did last year, (it) is pretty special. We’re just crossing our fingers right now, hoping hes a Buc.

"Mark Dominik is doing a great job to ensure that. So we'll see here in the next couple weeks. And hopefully he’ll be in a Buc uniform, wearing that No. 89, running down the field, scoring touchdowns like we’re used to."
