Bucs release PK Andrus

The Bucs have released PK Shane Andrus, according to the team's website.

Andrus became expendable after Tampa Bay signed Jets PK Mike Nugent to compete with Matt Bryant.

Andrus was among 10 players signed to a reserve/futures contract Jan. 8. He spent the past three seasons in training camp with the Indianapolis Colts.
