Bucs sign LB Koutouvides

Former Broncos LB Niko Koutouvides is the Bucs' latest acquisition.

Tampa Bay inked the free agent to a deal today, making him the first outside free agent signed by the club since the start of the signing period on Friday. Koutouvides was released by Denver on Feb. 16 after playing there one season.

A special-teams ace, he has 69 special teams tackles in five seasons. A Purdue product, Koutouvides has started two games in his career, but has been a reliable backup for Seattle and Denver.
