Crowell meeting with Bills Monday
Just an update on Bills free agent linebacker Angelo Crowell.
He's meeting with Buffalo officials on Monday. Crowell and the Bucs have had preliminary talks on a contract, as we told you earlier this week. It's most likely a one-year deal, according to a post on NFL.com.
At some point within the next few weeks, he has to make a decision. The Bucs and other teams need to turn their attention to the NFL draft and it helps to know which positions have been covered during the first round of free agency.
Regardless of what happens to Crowell, the Bucs are very confident in Quincy Black, who is projected as a strong side linebacker; and Geno Hayes, who plays the weakside. Adam Hayward just needs to settle on a position.
