So, it appears the Bucs are one of a few teams under consideration for a matchup with the Bills to be played in nearby Toronto.

The Bills, you might recall, played a regular-season game there against the Dolphins last season. They're planning to do so again and the Bucs, Colts and Saints are reportedly the teams from which the league will choose for Buffalo's opponent.

Vic Carucci of NFL.com reports the league is leaning toward pairing the Bills with an NFC opponent rather than the Colts, which would be a big draw for season-ticket holders in Buffalo.

So, why is this possibility a good thing for the Bucs? Because the Bills' home-away-from-home in Toronto is the Rogers Centre, a domed stadium. If you've ever been to Buffalo in the middle of the winter, you'd understand why that's important. If the Bucs-Bills game is scheduled during the colder portion of the season, a move to Toronto would be a huge break for the warm-blooded Bucs.

We don't have to tell you about the history of warm-weather football teams playing in cold climates. Suffice to say it's not pretty. If this were to come to fruition for the Bucs, it would give them two games outside the U.S. in the same season. They're already slated to play New England in London in October. Ironically, Tampa Bay has never played at Buffalo. Of course, the Bucs have never played in Toronto, either, so it'll be uncharted territory either way.
