The Jay Cutler sweepstakes have officially begun with the Broncos' announcement Tuesday that will honor their quarterback's request to be traded.

The Bucs attempted to acquire Cutler in a three-way deal that would've sent former Patriots quarterback Matt Cassel to the Broncos Feb. 28. Cassel instead was dealt to the Kansas City Chiefs.

Of course, now there is no shortage of suitors lining up for Cutler. The Lions, Jets, Vikings, 49ers, Browns and others are reportedly all interested in trading for Cutler. Detroit, which owns the No. 1 and No. 20 overall picks have the most juice to offer the Broncos. The Browns might consider tossing in a quarterback like Brady Quinn.

The Bucs don't own a second-round pick, having sent it to Cleveland for tight end Kellen Winslow. Tampa Bay selects 19th in the first round and it's unlikely the Broncos would have much interest in Luke McCown, Brian Griese or Josh Johnson.

Should Tampa Bay consider trading their No. 1 pick in 2008 and 2009 for Cutler? Remember, this is a rare chance to get a 25-year-old franchise quarterback that has thrown for more than 9,000 yards and been to the Pro Bowl.
