Barrett Ruud shows at Tampa Bay Buccaneers' minicamp
Linebacker Barrett Ruud is at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' mandatory three-day minicamp, which begins this morning.
But quarterback Brian Griese and guard Arron Sears are not.
Sears is dealing with a 'personal issue,' and GM Mark Dominik indicated last week that while the minicamp is mandatory, Sears might be excused. Through his agent, Ralph Cindrich, Griese has sought his release but has been unsuccessful.
Ruud had been absent from voluntary workouts due to dissatisfaction over his contract. We'll keep you updated after the team hits the field around 10 a.m.
