Bucs sign USF guard Schmidt

The Bucs signed South Florida guard Ryan Schmidt Sunday. To make room for Schmidt, they released guard Maurice Miller.

Schmidt started 25 of 26 games for the Bulls the last two seasons (2007-08). He orginally signed with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent but was released July 29.
