Buccaneers again swap LB McCoy and WR Urrutia; Stovall returns

SEPTEMBER 30, 2009

The Bucs made a minor roster move today, releasing WR Mario Urrutia and re-signing LB Matt McCoy. Urrutia was re-signed to the practice squad, where he was before his promotion to the active roster over the weekend.

Urrutia's release is directly linked to the return of WR Maurice Stovall, who is practicing today and appears to have recovered from the knee injury that sidelined him against the Giants.

McCoy was released from the roster on Saturday to make room for Urrutia.
