Bucs sign S Lynch, CB Hamilton

The Bucs signed two defensive backs to help their depleted secondary.

Tampa Bay signed safety Corey Lynch from the Bengals' practice squad and cornerback Marcus Hamilton, who was released by the Bears.

Hamilton played in one game for the Bucs last season against Chicago. He was released with the intent of re-signing him to the practice squad, but the Bears signed him to their 53-man roster.

The Bucs have issues in the secondary. S Jermaine Phillips was placed on injured reserve Tuesday with a broken thumb and cornerback Elbert Mack has an injured shoulder. S Tanard Jackson has two games remaining on his suspension for violating the substance abuse policy.
