Is the Buccaneers' move at receiver an indication of Bryant's status?
The Bucs have promoted WR Mario Urrutia from the practice squad ahead of this afternoon's kickoff against the Giants. To make room on the active roster, they released LB Matt McCoy.
The question now is what it means. Is this move an indication that starter Antonio Bryant will in fact be unable to suit up? Or is this just insurance against the possibility that they could be down two receivers in Bryant and Maurice Stovall, who isn't expected to play.
We'll know shortly when the team releases its inactive list for today. Stay tuned and we'll keep you posted.
