Keyshawn Johnson predicts a last-place finish for Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Add ex-Buc Keyshawn Johnson to the list of those who have predicted a long season for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Johnson, an ESPN analyst speaking Wednesday on a conference call previewing the NFL season, said he believes the Bucs will probably finish in last in the NFC South, and appeared surprised by the decision to hire Raheem Morris, whom Johnson knew from his time in Tampa Bay.

"Obviously it’s a retooling situation," Johnson said. "I really don't get the owners that well, I really don’t understand their thinking in terms of when they hired Raheem Morris, who was a young, tough coach with us. I really don’t understand the hiring. I don’t know if it’s a one year fix to see what happens until one of these other guys comes available, from the Mike Holmgrens of the world to Bill Cowher. They’re all out there. Is it a deal where you say. 'If he goes10-6, we keep him, and anything short of that we get rid of him because were going for something bigger and brighter?"..

“It’s a team that’s not going to be very good. It’s an uphill battle for a young head coach…Will the team respond to him in a tough situation? With that being said, it’s a team that’s going to probably finish last in the division."
