Redskins scrambling to prepare for Buccaneers' Josh Johnson
Redskins DT Albert Haynesworth and coach Jim Zorn just finished their interviews with the Tampa Bay media, and one of the things they elaborated on was the challenge of facing little-known QB Josh Johnson in his first start.
The Redskins have very little meaningful film of him and admit they'll be guessing a little bit.
"It's very hard for us as a (staff) to see where his strengths and weaknesses are," Zorn said. "We know nothing about that."
But Zorn knows enough to know that Johnson can beat opponents with his feet.
"He'll make something out of nothing," Zorn added.
Haynesworth said the Redskins have even reached back to Johnson's college film to see him in extended action. His playing time in the NFL -- almost all in the preseason -- has been mostly in limited stints. Haynesworth agreed with Zorn's assessment of Johnson's skills.
"He's a great athlete," he said. "Kind of like another Vince Young."
