Tampa Bay Buccaneers announce signing of C Mahan, DE Crowder

An injury at center and an ineffective pass rush has led to two signings by the Bucs Monday.

The Bucs signed C Sean Mahan and defensive end Tim Crowder.

To make room for those players, the Bucs released CB Kyle Arrington and DE Maurice Evans while also releasing P A.J. Trapasso.

Crowder entered the draft the draft as a second-round pick of the Denver Broncos in 2007. He has appeared in 19 games with one start, totalling 26 tackles, four sacks, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries.

Mahan rejoins the Bucs after being released by the team Sept. 2. He will provide depth at center with the triceps injury to C Jeff Faine.
