Texans-Bucs live blog
You can cut the tension with a butter knife here at Raymond James Stadium, where the Bucs are getting ready to wrap up their preseason against the Houston Texans.
There won't be many regulars playing tonight for either team. Just take a look at some of the Bucs' starters: QB Josh Freeman, RT Demar Dotson, C Rob Bruggeman, RG Marc Dile and TE Ryan Purvis. Basically, no starters on offense will play other than Earnest Graham and Jeremy Zuttah, who will play left tackle.
On defense, just Jermaine Phillips is out of the starting lineup. Surprisingly, everyone else is playing.
Among the inactives for Tampa Bay is K Matt Bryant, who has not kicked this preseason because of a hamstring injury. The entire starting offensive line, with the exception of Zuttah, is inactive as well. Cadillac Williams, Kellen Winslow, Derrick Ward, Byron Leftwich and Luke McCown are also inactive.
I'll be here during the game updating you on developments throughout the evening in the comments section below.
