Carolina Panthers coach John Fox impressed with QB Josh Johnson
Carolina coach John Fox knows a little bit about Bucs quarterback Josh Johnson, having worked him out when Johnson was coming out of the University of San Diego.
And from what Fox has seen, he's impressed.
“I think he’s a tremendous athlete, and I know he’ll be the best athlete we’ve played to date," Fox said Wednesday. " I worked him out when he came out of USD, and I’m from that area, so I knew a lot about him and what he’s accomplished. And I thought he was a fine young quarterback. Like all young players, there’s a learning curve. We’ve got some guys experienced on our team and I’m sure Josh is going through that a little bit himself.”
