Patriots cut ex- Buccaneers receiver Joey Galloway
The New England Patriots released former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Joey Galloway, the Boston Globe reports.
He caught five passes for 67 yards in three games with the Patriots this season.
Galloway, 37, was released by the Bucs, along with linebackers Derrick Brooks and Cato June, running back Warrick Dunn and wide receiver Ike Hilliard, in February as part of a sweeping youth movement.
One Boston radio report has Galloway on his way to Kansas City for a tryout with the Chiefs.
