UPDATE1:58 p.m.: Coach Raheem Morris said Ruud was limited in practice because of a ribs injury. It seems Ruud took a blow to that area of the body in Sunday's game and had some soreness as a result. But all indications are he will play on Sunday.

10:58 a.m.: The Bucs are on the field in spite of the heavy showers in the area, but a key member of the defense wasn't out there for the first two periods of the workout.

There was no sign of LB Barrett Ruud, who doesn't have an injury that we're aware of. It might not be an indication of anything. Ruud could be getting some much-needed rest. But with the changes afoot on defense, that would seem unlikely this week.
