Report: Bucs WR Bryant to visit Bengals
Ocho Cinco may team with Ocho Nueve.
Bucs free agent receiver Antonio Bryant is scheduled to visit the Cincinnati Bengals on Tuesday, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Bryant, 29, is an unrestricted free agent who was the Bucs' franchise player in 2009. But one year after leading the team with 83 catches for 1,248 yards and seven touchdowns, Bryant tore the meniscus in his left knee, forcing him to miss the preseason.
Bryant finished with only 39 receptions for 600 yards and four touchdowns in 2009. Concerns about his knee and his tendency to run poor routes prompted the Bucs not to offer him a contract for next season.
The Bengals are looking for a receiver to play opposite Chad Ocho Cinco and have discussed free agent Terrell Ownes and restricted free agent Brandon Marshall.
