Report: Dolphins interested in Bucs WR Bryant
Antonio Bryant may find another NFL home in the state of Florida.
The Miami Dolphins are interested in the Bucs' 29-year-old free agent receiver, agent Lamont Smith told the Miami Herald.
Bryant visited with the Cincinnati Bengals on Tuesday. If Bryant lands in Miami, he would be reunited with Bill Parcells, the Dolphins executive vice president for football operations. Parcells coached Bryant in Dallas before he shipped him to Cleveland in a trade during the Big Tuna's second season.
A incident in which Bryant threw his jersey at Parcells during an off-season practice led to the trade. The Dolphins ranked 20th in passing in the NFL last season. But apparently, the Dolphins believe Bryant might be good for their young quarterback, Chad Henne.
