NFL players can be on the other side of celebrity sightings as well.
Bucs defensive back Josh Robinson, the team's special-teams captain last season, was enjoying the down time of what limited offseason the NFL schedule allows when he lucked out with a big-time basketball teammate.
Robinson wound up in the same backcourt with Mark Cuban, the billionaire owner of the NBA's Dallas Mavericks, also famous from TV's "Shark Tank." Cuban posted a photo with Robinson on Instagram and Twitter, where he has more than 8 million combined followers.
"Best backcourt in the biz," Cuban wrote last Wednesday.
We wanted to know if there was a story behind the chance encounter, and Robinson responded through the team.
"Honestly, there isn't really a backstory lol," Robinson wrote. "We ended up playing at the same gym. I talked to him a little bit and we won a few games together. Cool experience, but not much of a story."
And if there's anything better than playing basketball with a billionaire, it's getting a pass from him for a game-winning shot.
"Mark dropped a dime to me and I nailed the three to win the game," Robinson said.
