Bucs veterans report for training camp in exactly two weeks, and quarterback Jameis Winston was preparing Tuesday by working out with a group of NFL receivers and Hall of Famer Randy Moss.
Fox 13 TV posted video of Winston working out at Skyway Park, though he declined to speak to reporter Kevin O'Donnell, saying he would wait until training camp. Winston hasn't spoken publicly since a statement of apology following his three-game suspension for violating the league's personal conduct policy.
Moss spoke to O'Donnell about Winston's suspension and how he can move forward and continue his progress as a young quarterback.
"He's doing things right. It's a bump in the road," Moss said. "Just continue to fight. It happens. What he did was wrong … he knows he was wrong. I think it's up for him as a man to understand what he did wrong, live and learn from it and let it go."
