As Bucs trail, Doug Martin sidelined with hamstring injury
With the Bucs already trailing the Cardinals 10-0 early in the second quarter Sunday, RB Doug Martin has been sidelined by a hamstring injury and is doubtful to return.
Martin had seven carries for 23 yards before the injury, which puts backup Charles Sims into a key offensive role. Jameis Winston has already thrown two interceptions, one of which set up a Cardinals field goal, and may have to throw the ball quite a bit between the score and Martin's injury.
Sims had five touches on the next drive, but for a total of 6 yards on three catches and two carries. The Bucs' third running back, Jacquizz Rodgers, just joined the team this week and was active ahead of rookie Peyton Barber.
