Barron, Goldson, Watson all questionable for Sunday
Several key defensive players were listed Friday in the Bucs' official injury report as being "questionable" for Sunday's game with lingering injuries.
Linebacker Dekoda Watson, who had participated fully in Thursday's practice, was limited Friday and is questionable with a shoulder injury. Also questionable are both starting safeties, as Mark Barron (hip) and Dashon Goldson (knee) were both limited Friday. Two reserves, DT Derek Landri (back) and WR Chris Owusu (foot) are also questionable.
Four others are listed as probable for Sunday: LB Mason Foster (hamstring), G Davin Joseph (knee), S Keith Tandy (ankle) and DT Akeem Spence (wrist). As expected, guard Carl Nicks (foot) and running backs Doug Martin (shoulder) and Jeff Demps (groin) are out for Sunday.
Barron worked with the first-team defense in Friday's walkthrough and coach Greg Schiano was confident he would be able to play. Goldson and Watson watched the walkthrough, with Tandy and Jonathan Casillas taking their spots with the No. 1 defense. The Bucs are expected to have Jamon Meredith starting for Nicks at left guard, with rookie Mike James stepping up in Martin's absence.
