Bucs' 2017 opponents all but set now

The Bucs' 2017 opponents are now all but known, with the final two teams dictated by the final standings -- unless the Bucs lose and Saints win on Sunday, they will play at Arizona and play host to the New York Giants next season.

If the Bucs win or the Saints lose, they'll finish second in the NFC South and draw the Cardinals and Giants as their opponents. In the event that they lose and the Saints win to put both at 8-8, the Saints win the tiebreaker and the Bucs finish third, which means they'll play at Los Angeles and play host to the Redskins in 2017.

That's in addition to their usual six division games against Atlanta, Carolina and New Orleans, plus this year's rotating divisions, facing the AFC East and the NFC North. The Bucs will have games at Green Bay, Minnesota, Buffalo and Miami, with home games against Chicago, Detroit, New England and the N.Y. Jets. Exact dates will be announced for the schedule in spring.

The Bucs will also learn their draft position for 2017 in the next week -- as it stands, they would pick around No. 18, with slight adjustments for changes in each team's strength of schedule. If the Bucs were to lose Sunday, they could potentially move up as many as four spots, depending on other outcomes; if they win, they could drop a spot or two as well.
