Bucs lose 21-0 lead, fall to Seattle 27-24 in OT
Here's a wrapup of our coverage of Sunday's frustrating 27-24 overtime loss for the Bucs, who had a 21-0 lead and couldn't keep the Seahawks from rallying back with the final 20 points of the game.
We'll start with Rick Stroud's game story, which reminds that the positive things about the Bucs' game were again overshadowed by this team's inability to close out a victory. Columnist Gary Shelton looks at that fourth-and-3 play with 25 seconds left and wonders why the Bucs -- so bold in the first half in building a substantial lead -- didn't take a swing and go for a victory instead of punting the ball and going to overtime. And Tom Jones checks in from back in Florida, saying that for this team, a loss is a loss and there's little else to take from Sunday.
Finally, here's my notebook, which touches on everything from Mike James' big day to his jump-pass touchdown to the Bucs' sudden change in third-down success and Keith Tandy's goal-line interception. And as a final link, here's our video recap of the Bucs' loss.
