As Bucs odds to win the Super Bowl go, it's not quite as much a long shot this time around.

Tampa Bay has opened with 33-to-1 odds to win Super Bowl LII next year according to the Bovada sports book in Las Vegas, a steady improvement over past years. The Bucs are tied for the 14th-best odds to win, but this time last year, they were getting 50:1 odds, with only four teams out of 32 facing longer odds; two years ago, they opened at 100:1 odds, with only two teams facing longer odds.

The Patriots, naturally, are the favorite to repeat as champs at 5:1, with the Cowboys and Packers next at 9:1, followed by the Steelers (12:1) and Falcons (14:1). The longest odds? The Browns, coming off a 1-15 season, are 150:1, as are the 49ers.

There are four other NFL teams that missed the playoffs this past season that have better odds than the Bucs -- the Broncos and Vikings at 16:1 and the Panthers and Colts at 25:1. That means the Bucs have the third-best odds in their four-team division, ahead of only the Saints (50:1). They do have the best odds in the state of Florida, however, ahead of the Dolphins (50:1) and Jaguars (66:1).
