Bucs place RB Charles Sims on injured reserve
The Bucs have placed running back Charles Sims on injured reserve, so the top backup to Doug Martin won't play for at least two months.
Sims injured his knee during last week's loss to the Broncos, but returned to the game. He would be eligible to return in Week 14 if he recovers in time.
The Bucs promoted rookie Russell Hansbrough from the practice squad for tonight's game at Carolina. The Bucs will have Jacquizz Rodgers and rookie Peyton Barber as their top two backs tonight.
