Bucs roster shake up begins with release of WR Ogletree, S Black
The Bucs began a shake up after an 0-4 start Tuesday by releasing receiver Kevin Ogletree and waiving safety Ahmad Black.
Receiver Chris Owusu will be promoted from the practice squad and the team is expected to re-sign receiver Tiquan Underwood, who was released after training camp.
Ogletree, who was signed as a free agent from the Dallas Cowboys, had eight receptions for 70 yards and a touchdown. But he dropped several passes and did not provide the Bucs with a reliable slot receiver they were looking for.
Black, who was pressed into service in Sunday's 13-10 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, may have been responsible for coverage busts against the Saints and did not play well in Sunday's game.
