Bucs S Barron questionable vs. Rams with hamstring
The Bucs may be without one of their top tacklers and pass defenders against the Rams Sunday.
Safety Mark Barron was limited in practice Friday and listed as questionable with a hamstring injury. He is the Bucs' second leading tackler with 88 and has two interceptions and two sacks. If Barron is unable to play, the Bucs will go with second-year pro Keith Tandy at safety.
"I'm not sure if he's going to be able to (play),'' Bucs coach Greg Schiano said. "We'll see, he's questionable.''
Schiano said defensive end Da'Quan Bowers is out for Sunday's game with a knee injury. "No, it's not a recurrence of his previous problem,'' he said.
Guard Carl Nicks, who has not played since Sept. 29 vs. the Cardinals due to a recurring bout with MRSA, is out and is done for the season, Schiano said. "There's only one game after this, so it would appear that way,'' Schiano said.
