Bucs sign five, release Selvie among roster moves
George Selvie's homecoming was short-lived.
The former USF star was released along with four other players to make room for five free agents, including four undrafted college players who participated in the rookie minicamp.
The Bucs signed North Carolina receiver Jheranie Boyd, Northern Michigan tackle Jace Daniels, Mount Union recevier Chris Denton, and Rutgers linebacker Ka'lial Glaud. Former Temple defensive tackle Andre Neblett, who played 30 games for the Carolina Panthers the past three seasons, also signed as a free agent.
To make room for those players, the Bucs released defensive tackle Richard Clebert, wide receiver D.J. Monroe and running back Akeem Shavers, while terminating the contracts of guard Roger Allen and Selvie.
