Bucs waive eight players, including USF's Andre Davis
Clearing even more room for signing undrafted rookies after this weekend, the Bucs waived eight players on Friday, including former USF WR Andre Davis.
Also cut were LB Darius Eubanks, G Antoine Everett, S Gerod Holliman, S Kimario McFadden, DT Derrick Lott, DE Jermauria Rasco and CB C.J. Roberts -- of the eight, the only one to play for the Bucs last season was McFadden, who had two tackles in three games as a late-season injury replacement. Eubanks was signed to the active roster in Week 17 but inactive, and the other seven were signed to contracts this spring.
The moves came after a three-day voluntary minicamp that allowed coaches to evaluate all the current players and how they fit into the Bucs' new schemes. Offseason roster limits are 90 players, and the Bucs had plenty of room -- they're now at 66 players plus their draft picks, which leaves plenty of room for undrafted prospects.
