Allen Bradford claimed off waivers by Seahawks
Running back Allen Bradford, released by the Bucs on Thursday to make room for Jackson, has been claimed off waivers by the Seahawks and coach Pete Carroll, Bradford's college coach at USC.
The Bucs had hoped to sign Bradford to their practice squad had he cleared waivers. They are thin at running back with LeGarrette Blount not expected to play this week, leaving just two tailbacks available -- Earnest Graham and Kregg Lumpkin.
Bradford was the Bucs' sixth-round pick. The Bucs have one other running back available to them, practice squad member Mossis Madu. There has been some consideration given to promoting him, but that won't happen before Sunday's game against the Saints.
