Arrelious Benn won't crack Bucs' starting lineup yet

The Bucs are going to inject rookie receiver Arrelious Benn into the offensive game plan this week, but he'll apparently do it coming off the bench.

"We're not going to start him but he's going to become more a part of the rotation," coach Raheem Morris said today as the Bucs return from their bye week. "He's earned the right, he's developing, he's getting better every week. Last week (against the Steelers) he went out there and showed flashes. . . We like where he's going and we look forward to our second half of the season."

That means Sammie Stroughter will likely continue in his role as the starting flanker, although the coaching staff has made it clear Stroughter's role there likely will be reduced. So, though he won't be in the starting lineup, you should expect to see quite a bit of Benn against the Bengals on Sunday.
