A big leap for Bucs GM Mark Dominik
General manager Mark Dominik can scratch at least one thing off his bucket list: Sky diving.
To show their appreciation for Dominik’s continued efforts to support service members, Dominik was invited to participate in a tandem skydive on Thursday with members of the Special Operations Command para-commandos at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa.
Footage of the jump will be shown during Sunday’s game at Raymond James Stadium, before which, members of the same unit will parachute into the stadium during a pre-game ceremony.
That will be just part of a day filled with military recognition. The Bucs will be collecting supplies for personnel stationed overseas.
Also, Army Capt. Brian Brennan, will serve as the Bucs’ honorary team captain. Brennan, currently stationed at MacDill, was severely injured in a roadside bomb attack in Afghanistan, severing both legs and leaving him in a coma. He returned home after months of therapy to a home the Bucs helped renovate through the so-called “Operation: Welcome Home” project.
