Black doesn't participate in practice again
Bucs starting strongside linebacker Quincy Black did not practice again Thursday, making his status for Sunday's game all the more doubtful.
Black, who injured his ankle in Sunday's win over the Vikings, was pulled during the game, with coach Raheem Morris saying it was injury-related. Morris had said Wednesday he was "hopeful" Black would be able to play against the Falcons, but felt comfortable if he had to put LB Dekoda Watson in his place.
If Black can't go, there's also a possibility rookie LB Mason Foster could get more snaps, especially in nickel situations. He took advantage of more playing time Sunday and performed well, with Morris saying he was "stout."
The Bucs practiced today at Tropicana Field, their weekly routine in trying to "beat the heat."
