Blount: "Everything is all good"
Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back LeGarrette Blount returned to practice Thursday, one day after undergoing MRI exams in Charlotte, N.C. on his back and neck.
Though Blount suffered a "stinger" in Sunday's game, according to general manager Mark Dominik, the running back felt confident he was okay, but relieved when tests confirmed as much, clearing him to play.
"Everything is all good," Blount said.
Blount said he was at full participation in Thursday's practice, and can play however much the Bucs need him on Sunday against the Giants. That appeared in question when the Bucs took the matter serious enough to send him to a specialist Wednesday.
"I just felt a little pain and they wanted to get it checked out, precautionary reasons," Blount said. "And I cleared."
Blount refused to give specifics on where he felt the "sharp pain," other than it was "here and there."
"I tested out," Blount said. "Everything is good."
