Buccaneers rookie DE Kyle Moore to undergo knee surgery
UPDATE, 4:40 p.m.: The Buccaneers have updated their injury report to reflect Moore's injury. One clarification: the team says the injury did not necessarily happen on Wednesday. It was, however, diagnosed by team doctors today.
3:02 p.m.: Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie defensive end Kyle Moore, who was set to make his regular season debut on Sunday, will be sidelined several weeks after suffering a knee injury.
Moore had his first full-speed practice on Wednesday, after sitting out two weeks with a groin injury. But he tore his meniscus during that workout and will undergo surgery on Friday. Moore said he could return in three weeks.
Moore was expected to have an important role in the defensive line rotation.
