Buccaneers rookie Kyle Moore closer to pro debut
It's been a frustrating series of events for rookie DE Kyle Moore, a USC product who hasn't seen the field yet.
After dealing with a groin injury at the start of the regular season, his return was cut short after only one practice when it was determined he needed knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus. That procedure set him back and has kept him out the past three weeks.
But Moore is back practicing this week and said today he believes that if he doesn't play this week -- that seems like a long shot -- that he will make his debut against the Patriots in London on Oct. 25.
The Bucs are hoping his return helps spark their pass rush, which hasn't been nearly consistent enough through the first five games. Moore started 24 games at USC, leading the team with five sacks in 2008 and 9.5 tackles for losses.
