Buccaneers' Stroughter receives NFC special teams honor

Buccaneers rookie WR Sammie Strougher was named NFC special teams player of the week today after becoming just the third player in franchise history to return a kickoff for a touchdown against the Panthers on Sunday.

Strougher tied Clifton Smith's franchise record for the longest return at 97 yards, getting the Bucs back into the game with his third quarter effort.

Strougher was also the Bucs' leading receiver on Sunday, catching three passes for 65 yards.
