Bucs announce hiring of Ron Turner as QBs, Ben McDaniels offensive assistant



The Bucs announced the hiring of Ron Turner as quarterbacks coach and Ben McDaniels as offensive assistant, completing the offensive staff under coach Greg Schiano.

Turner was interviewed for the Bucs offensive coordinator's position. He has 11 seasons in the NFL working as the quarterbacks coach (2011) and wide receivers coach (2010) with the Indianapolis Colts and offensive coordinator (2005-09) and offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach (1993-96) with the Chicago Bears.

McDaniels, the brother for former Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels, last worked with Denver as the quarterbacks coach during the 2010 campaign and coaching assistant in 2009.
