Bucs to announce Ring of Honor inductee Wednesday

Hall of Fame defensive end Lee Roy Selmon and legendary coach John McKay, the first coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, were somewhat obvious choices to be the first inducted into the team's Ring of Honor.

But who will be next? The Bucs will reveal the identity of the latest member at a news conference Wednesday at 11 a.m.

Chances are the Bucs will continue to dip into their early years. Tight end Jimmie Giles, who went to four Pro Bowls and played 13 seasons, nine with Tampa Bay, is a good candidate. Or do the Bucs honor quarterback Doug Williams, who left after several years in the Bucs pro personnel department to return to coach Grambling State?

The first player ever drafted and first coach are in the Ring of Honor. What about the first owner, Hugh Culverhouse? Or do the Bucs move to the modern era and select coach Tony Dungy?

Gives us your thoughts.
