Bucs C Faine says he pulled his quad muscle
The Bucs' 24-21 comeback win over Cincinnati today came with a price.
Center Jeff Faine said he suffered a pulled quad muscle early in the second half. He will undergo further evaluation in Tampa Monday. Faine did not return to the game and guard Jeremy Zuttah finished the game at center.
Also injured today was safety Sean Jones. He left the game on the first play from scrimmage with a back injury that he described as a strain. He said he tried to return but "I wouldn't have been any good out there."
Jones said he didn't believe the injury to be serious and believes he has a chance to return next week.
